The main reason for this trip was to provide a Design for Reliability seminar at a resort in Lake Constance Germany. I was giving the seminar with Dr. Gregg Hobbs. He was to present his theories on HALT and I was to present my methodology of how to tie HALT into an overall reliability program.
Gregg and I took our wives along and we vacationed together for 2 weeks prior to giving the seminar. We started in Frankfurt and then traveled south through Munich then down to Salzburg Austria. From there, we made our way across Austria, through Innsbruck and Kitzbuhl. We then crossed into Switzerland and visited the towns of St. Moritz and Zermatt. Finally we headed back over to Germany to Lake Constance and gave a very successful 2 day seminar.
Below are pictures of our travels.
